Our good friends (and caffeine-enablers) at Starbucks have pointed out that today, December 1, is World AIDS Day. As such, they’re donating 5 cents of every handcrafted-beverage-purchase to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa.
Good ideas inspire us, and so we’re inclined to do something similar. For EVERY order at boloco today, we’ll give 5 cents to our favorite charity, Community Servings (a non-profit “dedicated to providing free home-delivered meals throughout Eastern Massachusetts to people homebound with HIV/AIDS and other acute life-threatening illnesses, who are unable to shop or cook for themselves”).
In addition, give us your Starbucks receipt today (and buy something from us, even if it’s just a cookie!), and we’ll match their 5 cents to the Global Fund!
