It's hard to think ahead to July, but at boloco HQ, we've already begun planning for one of the largest and most impactful events we participate in, The Prouty. Cancer affects everyone, and sponsoring an event like The Prouty is a great way for us to give back to the Hanover and Upper Valley community and patients at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center through our food and financial sponsorship, while also developing bonds that extend way beyond the four walls of our restaurants.
We're set on making this our biggest year yet. Not only are we donating the most burritos and largest financial contribution as a company, but we hope to ride 50 strong and raise an additional $50K by participating in The Prouty's 20, 35, 50, and 100 mile charity bike ride.
Fundraising can be a challenge and yes, the majority is up to you. But Team Boloco is in this together. We're already finalizing a fundraiser in Boston with Sam Adams to benefit Team Boloco's team donation. We hope to do something similar at our Northern store.
Additionally, here are some fundraising tips in helping you reach your goal. All we ask is that you meet the minimum asked of by the Prouty, $150. However, should you exceed the minimum (which is highly encouraged, and would be AWESOME!), there will be tiered prizes for your efforts, including:
$250 = Limited Edition Fenway Park Boloco Card with 5 Freebies (and if you don't live near a boloco, your choice of a t-shirt or notebook)
$500 = In addition to the above, TWO stemless boloco wine glasses
$1,000 = In addition to the above, a Team Boloco bike jersey
$2,000 = In addition to the above, TWO Simon Pearce beer mugs with "boloco" bike logo and "2011 Prouty Lead Contributor etched onto it
If you do not raise $1,000 to secure a boloco bike jersey but would still like one, we can hook you up for the discounted price of $25 should you raise $500 - please email Sara at email@example.com
