Here at boloco, we're pretty stoked summer is finally upon us. The sun is shining, the days are getting warmer, and the swans are back doing whatever swans do in the Boston Public Garden. Yup, things are looking up.
To kick off the season right, we'd like to get things started with a bang (or rather... a crunch). Because now through June 29th, we're featuring our version of The Summer (any size, burrito or bowl!) and pairing it your choice of Food Should Taste Good® chips for just $1.00. If you've never tried the Multigrain (made with flax, sunflower, and sesame seeds) or the Sweet Potato (made with, you guessed it, sweet potatoes), now's your chance to try 'em risk free. On JUNE 2, we'll be offering a FREE bag with your purchase of any size Summer burrito or bowl. It's a delicious duo of seasonal goodness!
We're kicking off events season in New England, and we were psyched to see some of you at the Bike Week Festival in City Hall plaza. This evening, we hope to see many more of you at the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge (which happens to be the day after National Running Day!), where we'll be handing out thousands of burritos to hungry runners (let's hope our golf cart doesn't break down like last year!) and sweating our way through 3.5 miles along with the 10,000 other participants. We're also at AIDS Walk Boston this Sunday where we'll be rocking some good tunes outside our airstream, playing boloco pong toss, and handing out burritos (to those willing to donate!) In honor of the 30th anniversary of the event, we'll also be raffling off a boloco card loaded with 30 freebies, so come generous and hungry and leave full and happy (and maybe a winner).
PS- If you're game for more, you can get a double dose on June 9th, as we'll be at the Taste of Fort Point Channel (right down the street from our new digs in Atlantic Wharf) and hosting our first annual Sam Adams Beer + Burrito pairing benefiting Team Boloco and The Prouty. For $25, we'll be sampling Sam's seasonal flavors and pairing them with some of our old favorites, as well as new "inspired" creations yet to hit the menu. If you're 21+, come join us at our Pearl Street location from 5-7PM or 7:30-9:30PM because, honestly... what's better than bikes, beer, and burritos?
PPS- Our hearts go out to the recent tornado victims across the country and the state. If you want to help, the American Red Cross of Central and Western Massachusetts, is collecting donations to directly benefit those in need.
