Question, my local boloco workers said they thought the Memphis BBQ is not vegetarian, I just wanted to doublecheck that its not vegetarian?

Hey Paula,
The Memphis BBQ is absolutely fine for vegetarians (unless you choose to add meat, of course)! The confusion probably stems from the fact that when first introduced, the preparation of the BBQ sauce involved a ham hock, but we’ve since changed the recipe to accommodate those of you who don’t eat meat.

I was in your Boston Northeastern Univ. location Sat. Jan 9 and had a whole wheat Mediterranean wrap….it was fantastic ! The staff was very efficient and very pleasant.!
