We vowed never to open small restaurants again, and yet in early 2009 we opened another “Baby Boloco”.
In its most recent life it was a Kabloom (that went kaboom). We love Downtown Crossing and have always wanted to be there- but we didn’t just get any old Downtown Crossing location. We are on The Freedom trail, next to old City Hall, and down the street from The Omni Parker House – all part of the fabric of Boston. Our friends at the BRA (did I say friends?? that’s right – they’re human and pretty cool!) even helped by suggesting we add French windows that open the entire restaurant to the outdoors – maybe that’s why the Mayor came to cut our grand opening ribbon!
