Once every so often, our little restaurant chain allows us to get to know some pretty interesting people. Lately, we’ve gotten to know David Ortiz, aka #34 Big Papi (click here for the full story)
We’re doing something special in honor of his last season in the MLB.
Here’s the deal… effective until Big Papi’s last day at bat, Boloco has partnered with Big Papi’s Kitchen and the David Ortiz Children’s Fund to launch the “Big Papi’s Kitchen Burrito” (see image below for David’s yummy choice of ingredients)
Our goal?
To raise $34,000 (yup, it’s all about the number 34!) for the David Ortiz Children’s Fund as a ‘thank you’ to David for everything he has done for New England. The Children’s Fund helps children in both New England and the Dominican Republic who do not have access to the critical pediatric services, including life-saving surgeries, they need.
All you have to do is visit any Boloco (or click here to order online), order the Big Papi Kitchen Burrito and $1 will be donated to the David Ortiz Children’s Fund. And then we collectively need to figure out how to get that done 33,999 more times!
